O que há de novo em cada versão do AnyRemote.

1.0.52
2026-09-19
  • Housekeeping: the app now reports its version when connecting to the server — this helps us diagnose reports faster (we can see which build hit an issue). It does not affect how the connection works or your privacy.
1.0.51
2026-09-19
  • On phones (as the controller) there is now a button to bring up the on-screen keyboard — you can type into fields on the remote computer.
1.0.50
2026-09-19
  • Connecting on restrictive networks (corporate/guest Wi-Fi that block all UDP and everything except port 443): the WebRTC engine was updated so the relay now also works over a secure connection on 443 — the connection establishes where it previously could not.
1.0.49
2026-09-18
  • Detailed connection diagnostics in the log: it now shows which connection paths (local, via STUN, via the relay) each side gathered, and on failure — why the connection could not be established. Helps troubleshoot when a connection does not go through.
1.0.48
2026-09-18
  • Fixed the Windows auto-update hanging: the screen-capture service held its file open and the update could not replace it — now the service is stopped before copying and the copy no longer waits forever.
1.0.47
2026-09-18
  • Fixed connecting over the internet behind strict NAT (mobile carriers, CGNAT): a relayed connection could not finish setting up within the allotted time and was dropped on its own. It is now given enough time to establish.
1.0.46
2026-09-13
  • Session password: a one-time password (new on every launch) is now shown under your ID — hand it out for a one-off connection. The permanent password from settings still works too; either one is accepted.
  • When connecting you can save the peer's password so you don't type it every time.
  • Fixed a freeze when reconnecting to the same computer.
  • If the remote computer stops responding, the session now closes with a message instead of hanging on a blank screen.
1.0.45
2026-09-13
  • Smoother video: an internal frame-rate cap is removed — the picture now runs at the full set frame rate without stutter (Windows).
1.0.44
2026-09-13
  • Windows: apps running as administrator can now be controlled, and the User Account Control (UAC) prompt is visible. A system service is added during installation for this, so the installer asks for administrator rights.
  • Fixed video stutter while moving the mouse actively.
  • The app no longer closes together with the console window it was launched from.
  • The About dialog and the footer now show the build number and build date.
1.0.43
2026-08-16
  • The mouse pointer is visible again: on phones and in the browser the remote cursor was not drawn at all.
  • Drawing the cursor is now a setting: on for phones out of the box, off on computers — there you already have a pointer of your own.
  • Fixed colours on Linux — red and blue were swapped.
  • After a browser session you return to the page you started from, not to your profile.
1.0.42
2026-08-16
  • Connections now succeed where they used to fail: a relay was added for networks with strict NAT, mobile ones above all.
  • Screen streaming now starts gently and ramps up within seconds — on narrow links the picture appears instead of never showing up.
  • If the other side closes the app, you now get a clear message instead of a black screen.
1.0.41
2026-08-16
  • No more hit-and-miss black screen: the app keeps asking for a reference frame until the picture starts.
  • Most noticeable on slow or remote networks, where the connection takes longer to set up.
1.0.40
2026-08-16
  • Fixed a black screen when connecting from a phone: the remote screen is visible again.
  • On Android the picture now goes through the same hardware path as on desktop.
1.0.39
2026-08-16
  • Fixed a black screen when connecting from Linux or a phone: the remote screen is visible again.
  • The new screen transfer path now actually works on Linux — it was ready but never switched on.
  • If the new path cannot be displayed, the app now falls back to the previous one instead of showing nothing.
1.0.38
2026-08-16
  • Android phones and tablets now share their screen through the hardware encoder — a noticeably sharper and smoother picture.
  • Linux can share its screen the same way, including on Wayland: the system will ask you to allow screen sharing.
  • On Linux, screen sharing benefits from the gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad and gstreamer1.0-pipewire packages — without them everything works as before.
1.0.37
2026-08-16
  • Linux now also shows the remote screen through hardware decoding — sharper picture, same as on Windows and phones.
  • This needs the gstreamer1.0-libav package: without it the app still works, just with the previous quality.
1.0.36
2026-08-16
  • Password for unattended access: whoever knows it connects right away, without asking you. The password itself never travels over the network.
  • View-only mode: the partner sees your screen but cannot control it.
  • Screen selection when you have several monitors.
  • Quality now adapts to the link: on a slow connection the bitrate drops by itself and comes back when there is room.
  • Phones now show the computer screen through hardware decoding — sharper and smoother. Sharing the phone screen still works the old way.
1.0.35
2026-08-16
  • Linux: the tray icon menu works again — it used to open with no button at all, leaving a hidden window unreachable.
  • Linux: the app no longer starts twice — a second launch simply brings up the already open window, as on Windows.
1.0.34
2026-08-15
  • New way of sending the screen on Windows: DirectX capture and graphics-card encoding instead of software. The picture is sharper, especially text and colour gradients.
  • Control lag is gone: pressing the app window title bar used to freeze everything for about half a second, making double clicks impossible.
  • A still screen no longer occupies the channel: the stream used to run constantly regardless of whether the image changed.
  • New "Auto" scaling mode: a remote screen smaller than your window is shown one-to-one, a larger one is scaled down to fit. The previous modes remain.
  • Linux: the package is renamed to elx-anyremote, because the name anyremote is taken by another program in the Debian and Ubuntu repositories.
1.0.33
2026-07-21
  • Linux computers can now be controlled: mouse and keyboard work (Debian/Ubuntu, Wayland and X11).
  • After installing the .deb package, log out and back in once.
  • The package now installs to /usr/lib/anyremote — no more warnings on removal.
1.0.32
2026-07-21
  • Fixed a black screen: with the session window maximized, minimizing and restoring it left the remote desktop invisible.
  • Fixed a frozen picture with wrong aspect ratio and a dead mouse after minimizing the window.
1.0.30
2026-07-21
  • Several people can now connect to one computer at once (up to four). The screen is captured only once, so there is no extra load.
  • Fixed: two simultaneous connection requests no longer start two sessions.
  • Added a build for Debian and Ubuntu (.deb).
1.0.29
2026-05-27
  • Android phones can be controlled from a computer: taps, long presses, dragging and scrolling.
  • Enable AnyRemote once in the system Accessibility settings — the app opens that screen for you.
1.0.28
2026-05-27
  • Android can now share its screen: show what is happening on the phone and work with its files.
1.0.26
2026-05-25
  • Update checks became reliable: the app retries them if there was no network at startup.
  • The About window shows the build date and has a manual update check button.
1.0.25
2026-05-25
  • Screen capture frame rate is now configurable — from 10 to 30 fps.
1.0.24
2026-05-25
  • On phones the cursor now works like a trackpad: your finger moves the remote cursor and the view follows it when zoomed.
  • Your own ID in the address book is marked as “this is you”.
1.0.19
2026-05-25
  • Touch control on Android: tap to click, two fingers for right click, pinch to zoom.
  • In-app updates on Android.
  • Version number and build date are shown on the main screen.
1.0.18
2026-05-25
  • A second copy of the app no longer starts — the running window is brought up instead.
1.0.17
2026-05-25
  • Autostart with Windows — the app starts minimized to the tray.
1.0.16
2026-05-24

1.0.13
2026-05-24
  • The app interface is translated into 7 languages, switchable in settings.
1.0.11
2026-05-24

1.0.5
2026-05-23
  • An intro animation while connecting to the remote screen (can be turned off in settings).
  • The app checks for a new version and offers to update.
1.0.2
2026-05-23
  • Web viewer: connect to a remote computer straight from the browser, without installing the app.
